The Albany Wine and Dine for the Arts Festival supports the arts through three days of eating delicious food and sipping unique drinks. Each year, our restaurants participate in a Rising Star Chef Competition, Bartender Competition, Slider Slam, and tasting booths throughout the entire weekend.
In 2023, Primary Food Group made a splash at the Slider Slam Competition, where Prime Burger Shakehouse won the "People’s Choice” award for Best Slider with their Caramelized Onion Smash Burger. Meanwhile, our very own Toro Cantina Bartender, Rob Shoy, won in the "Battle of the Bartenders Competition," securing the "People’s Choice" award for Best Margarita. Rob's winning creation, "The Earl," featured a tantalizing blend of 1800 reposado tequila, earl grey infused italicus bergamot liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, sea salt, organic agave, and an aromatic dehydrated citrus tea bag.
