Let’s take a quick pause and reflect. 2025 is here, and wow—what a way to kick it off! From our epic Holiday Stroll to those unforgettable NYE parties (we may or may not have danced like nobody was watching), we’re feeling the love. And we’ve got a lot to be grateful for. As we settle into the new year, we’re all about comfort, good vibes, and keeping the good times rolling at Primary Food Group. Whether you’re recovering from the holiday madness or just need a solid meal to kickstart your year, we’ve got you covered.

2024 WRAPPED | Our Year in Numbers
What a year it’s been! As we roll into 2025, we're taking a moment to reflect on the incredible 2024 for Primary Food Group—and the numbers are in! Let’s just say, we’ve been busy serving up some seriously unforgettable meals.
Across all of our spots, we welcomed 174,197 guests (that’s a lot of clinking glasses and clean plates!). Here’s a breakdown of what we served up:
Lobster: 16,000 lbs
Meat (Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Pork): 130,000 lbs
Oysters: 62,400 oysters
Potatoes: 31,200 lbs
Steaks at 677 Prime: 24,000 lbs of perfectly cooked cuts.
But let’s get into the details:
Toro led the way with 72,985 guests, dishing out everything from sizzling fajitas to killer margaritas—and let’s not forget about the guac obsession: 35,376 whole avocados. That’s some serious avocado love!
Sea Smoke served 41,982 guests who enjoyed fresh seafood, grilled meats, and, of course, that unbeatable view.
677 Prime, our iconic steakhouse, treated 50,032 guests to juicy steaks and perfectly poured glasses of wine.
Primrose, our cozy café, welcomed 9,198 guests, providing them with a much-needed caffeine fix and sweet treats.
A huge shoutout to our amazing guests and dedicated teams, who made all of this possible. We’re beyond excited about what 2025 has in store—more bites, more sips, and yes, more guac-filled moments. Bring it on!
Comfort Food that just hits differently in January
677 PRIME
Lobster & Mushroom Pappardelle
Let’s get one thing straight: if you’re not eating butter-poached lobster in January, are you even living? At 677 Prime, we’re turning up the cozy with Lobster and Mushroom Pappardelle. The delicate lobster tail, rich wild mushroom veloute, and crispy shallots are basically the adult version of your favorite childhood comfort food—just with a lot more butter. Say hello to your new favorite meal. Need something to keep you warm and satisfied through the chilly months? Head to Toro for the Chimichanga. This flavorful combo of pork carnitas, yellow rice, black beans, tomato, pepper, onion, chipolte aioli, oaxaca, chihuahua and asadero cheeses, queso fundido, and salsa ranchera is the cozy hug you need after a long week.

Dry January, but Make It Fresh
We know it’s that time of year when Dry January is the move—but who says you can’t still vibe with something delicious? Our bartenders have been working overtime to craft the best mocktails in town, and we’re here to tell you: non-alcoholic drinks CAN be just as cool as their boozy cousins. We use fresh ingredients, flavorful syrups, and a whole lot of creativity to make sure your drink still has a serious vibe—even if it's alcohol-free. So, whether you’re taking a break from the sauce or just want something refreshing, we’ve got the mocktail magic you’re looking for.

January isn’t just about kicking off the year—it’s about elevating it. That’s why we’re super pumped for the Albany Chef’s Food & Wine Festival. This year, we’re celebrating Tim Williams, our Rising Star Chef from Sea Smoke. This festival is all about promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting the local arts community, so you can eat, drink, and feel good about it. Plus, our booths will be serving up some signature dishes from 677 Prime, Toro Cantina, and Sea Smoke. Make sure to swing by and sample some of the best bites we’ve got.
Battle of the Bartenders: Let’s Get Ready to Rumble
The stakes are high and the drinks are higher! For the past two years, we've crushed the competition in the Battle of the Bartenders, and this year, we’re bringing even more heat!
On Friday, January 24th, catch Rob from Toro Cantina throwing down in the Amaro Challenge. Then on Saturday, January 25th, it’s time for Joe from Sea Smoke to compete in the Jack Daniels Competition.
Our bartenders have taken home the crown in previous years, and they’re ready to defend their titles with style! Trust us—you won’t want to miss the fierce competition!
